This policy covers socialtoothpaste.com, our forms, email and phone conversations, and the work we do for clients. It doesn’t cover other websites we link to; their own policies apply there.

Like most websites, our server and tools record technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected through cookies (see section 4).
We may receive business contact details from public sources such as company websites and LinkedIn, or from referrals, when we research a prospective client.
Where EU or UK law applies, we rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a contract; our legitimate interest in running and promoting our business; your consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time); and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. If we ever use advertising cookies that a state law treats as “sharing”, you can opt out by emailing us or turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), strong passwords and two-factor sign-in where available, limit access to the people who need it, and keep our software up to date. When you give us access to your accounts, we use our own logins rather than shared passwords wherever the platform allows. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.

To make a request, email sales@socialtoothpaste.com with the subject “Privacy request” or call +1 (516) 900-1200. We’ll confirm your identity and respond within 45 days (30 days under GDPR). You can use an authorized agent to make a request for you.
California (CCPA/CPRA): in the last 12 months we collected identifiers, commercial information, internet activity and professional information, from the sources and for the purposes described above. We don’t sell personal information or use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. California residents can use the rights in section 9.
New York: we protect private information under the New York SHIELD Act, with the safeguards described in section 8, and notify affected people of any breach as that law requires.
Other states: residents of states with consumer privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and Florida) can use the same rights, and appeal a decision by replying to our response.
Our business and providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed there. Where required, our providers use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards. You may complain to your local data protection authority, though we’d appreciate the chance to fix the problem first.
Our services are for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
When we manage a client’s website, analytics or ad accounts, the client controls their customers’ data and we process it only on their instructions, under our engagement contract. Questions about that data should go to the client first.
We’ll update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site or emailed to clients.
